This magnificent stallion out of Moonbeam Cloud and by
Prince of Colors was a dapple grey Thoroughbred,
standing at 16.2 hands, and was 4 yrs old. Prince was a
twin to Moonbeam Princess and a full brother to
Moonbeam Colors. Prince was owned and bred by
Whitebrok Farm Thoroughbred Training and Breeding
Facility. He was never up for stud, there for had no foals.
His stud fee was $300. He was SCID free.
There is still frozen semen available, but it is not for sale,
so please don't ask.
Prince was a racer. He was not really well known, but he
was loved. His parents were not bad at eventing, he
probably would have done better there.

Prince of the Clouds has passed away, he died of the
feared Equine Infectious Anemia, or more widely known
as Swamp Fever. This page is a tribute to him. We know
now that he is probably better off in Horse-Heaven
instead of being miserable down on Earth and infecting
more horses, even though we miss him dearly. The case
of EIA that infected Prince was the worst of them all here
at Whitebrook. More than 50 horses got it and had to be
put down. It is a tradition at Whitebrook Farm that every
morning before the staff begins our morning chorse, we
all go to he hill where the horses were buried and stand
there for a few minutes in silence as the sun rises over
our beloved horses's graves. We do the same after all
our work is done, watching the sun set. On the day our
horses died, we take the WF flag and put it up on the flag
pole where the horses were buried. We then spend a few
minutes in silence, either looking down or at the sky.
We never really got to say goodbye to any of these
horses, they left us so suddenly. So the whole staff at
Whitebrook would like to say a formal good bye to Prince
of Colors in this form.

Prince of the Clouds
You gallop so majestically on the track
Your tail and mane flowing behind
As you pound the dirt with every step
You graze in the pasture so peacefully
Looking for fresh green grass
And canter wonderfully to show off
You look own on us all from the clouds now
Where you are Prince of them all
Living up to your name, Prince of the Clouds
